America's Helper Tour

I had no idea that Helper has been around since 1971 and has 40 flavors to choose from. To be honest, my family rarely made it, but Dadda monkey's family did and it's something he enjoys. It's quick, easy, flavorful, and convenient. He loves sharing the cheeseburger macaroni with the kids, but it hasn't grown on me. However, I really did like the new sweet and sour chicken. They also mentioned that you can substitute pork in this dish. The other new flavors are four cheese lasagna, stroganoff, and crunchy taco.

I posted earlier how Helper has taken to the road with the food truck craze in their America's Helper Tour. We got a chance to visit them when they stopped in San Antonio and had a fun time.

We just got back from a 9 day vacation to Disney World! I'll post more information and tips learned as soon as we get back to normal after the trip.

America's Helper Tour

We're on our way to see America's Helper Tour in San Antonio. They're at 514 West Commerce Street until 7 pm tonight. Go by and see them and grab yourself an easy lunch or dinner! The monkeys are looking forward to trying their new varieties. With 40 flavors to choose from, there's a lot of options for people to find their favorites. The four new flavors are: Sweet and Sour Chicken, Four Cheese Lasagna, Stroganoff, and Crunchy Taco.

Meatless Monday becomes Meatless Tuesday...

Meatless Monday is becoming Meatless Tuesday at our house (at least for football season).  Dadda monkey always seems to dread Meatless Monday. I think it's just something about men and their carnivorous ways. Although as a football fan myself (HTTR!), I've agreed to move our meatless menu day to Tuesday. This Monday, my beloved Redskins will be playing the Eagles. Bring on the pigs in a blanket, wings, pizza, etc..!
